2007 was a good year:
I graduated from college.
I interned for TechCrunch and helped launch CrunchBase.
I decided to do my own thing and build affordable housing in Sonoma County (I will provide more info on this in future posts).
BUZZYEAH grew a small audience and should continue to grow as I blog about stuff that interests me. Like decoding my genome (so far I have raised about $720 for the 23andMe DNA test).
And, surprisingly, I had the #3 “Most Bookmarked” post on TechCrunch in 2007.

2008 is going to be a great year.
Here’s what you can look forward to from BUZZYEAH in 2008:
The personal genomics bug has bit me hard. Expect very interesting posts detailing my complete 23andMe experience. I only need to raise $280 more before I can take their test.
People planning to disrupt the US healthcare industry with new solutions have caught my attention. I will be tracking people like Dr. Jay Parkinson closely.
There will be more posts about startups, people and large companies bringing innovative solutions to the bottom of the pyramid. Like Kiva, Intel & Aravind Eye Care, and Eric Brewer.
Plus, expect plenty of hemming, hawing and ranting about stuff like the NBA bringing live game streams online and problems with the music blogosphere.
