How To Watch Live Streaming NBA Games Online

I've been trying to watch live streaming NBA games online for a while now. Yesterday, I posted that ESPN360 won't let me watch their live streaming NBA games since my Internet provider Comcast won't pay ESPN to let its customers access the site.

I think that ESPN is making an un-savvy business move but they can do what they want since they have almost exclusive NBA digital media rights until like 2015-2016.

Anyways, I found another legal way to watch live streaming NBA games online with NBA League Pass Broadband.

Here are the steps:

First: Sign-up for a free NBA League Pass. It looks like it covers most ISPs including Comcast, DISH, DirectTV, Cox, Cablevision, Time Warner etc.

Second: Wait for the authentication email

Third: Start watching their available games. Here is a screen capture of me watching live streaming Nuggets vs. Bobcats game earlier today:

Unfortunately, you can't yet watch the NBA League Pass Broadband games at full screen. Hopefully they will change that soon.

Here is a list of the games available to stream today January 14:

I'd say they did pretty well with their coverage since they made available six of the seven games today.

Last100 has a very complete and in-depth post on where to watch NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NCAA games online.

Update: Lame! I hear that games for local teams televised in the home market are blacked out from the NBA League Pass streaming. So, I still can't watch Warriors games.
