We here at BUZZYEAH will be having a saliva-spitting party on this coming Wednesday, February 6. Mark the date on your calendars!
The party will be awesome and plenty of saliva will be involved (at least 2.5 milliliters). If you can’t make it I will be posting plenty of saliva-spitting photos.
Note: FedEx tracking estimates that my 23andMe kit package that I ordered will arrive by Wed, Feb 6. Let’s cross our fingers that it does.

In other DNA news, Dr. Hsien just posted to her excellent blog Eye on DNA a list of “Ten Reasons NOT To Take a DNA Test.”
Reason #2: “You are on a tight budget and your health insurance won’t cover the cost of DNA testing. (On the other hand, you could raise money publicly like Andrew Meyer at Buzzyeah.)”
I totally agree. If Reason #2 on her list is the only thing stopping you from taking a DNA test than start a blog and raise it.
Or… just live vicariously through my DNA test experience. :)
